About Me
I'm an interactive designer/developer based out of New Orleans, LA. I've been in the industry here in New Orleans since 1999. Outside of my professional endeavors, I dabble in a lot of different creative outlets such as music, art and writing.

Projects & Passions
Here are some projects that I work on in my spare time.
Hangin' out with Rasmus, The Creator of PHP!
December 26, 2010 in Development & Programming
Tags:Rasmus Lerdorf Stops by NOLAPHP
Well, this was pretty cool. Towards the end of November, I received a tweet from Rasmus inquiring about the next NOLAPHP meetup. After a little coordination amongst us and Rasmus, we quickly moved the December meetup to be able to line up for when he was in New Orleans.
Right on time, he showed up at our LaunchPad location in the CBD and proceeded to talk for nearly 3 hours, fielding a variety of questions. Everything was very interesting, but what I found the most inspiring was the first 30 minutes, when someone in the group simply asked (in paraphrase) "Where are you from and how did it happen." He then gave a personal bio that included his journey around the world that placed him into the situations that allowed him to develop and use the first bits of, as he put it, "scripts that would eventually become PHP."
All and all, it was very inspiring. After all, it's not everyday you get to meet someone who created and sparked a major programming language that many, many people use daily (including myself.)
It is nice information provided in the article.
